Police investigating shooting in Pinks Alley that injured one man

By Aaron Humes: 20-year-old Jahshiel Cervantes is listed in stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital following his being shot on Saturday night.

Around 10:15 p.m. police responded to shots fired through Majestic Alley and found that a group of men including Cervantes were standing in front of a small wooden shop on Pinks Alley, facing away from the street.

A white SUV with license plate unknown entered the alley from North Front Street, and someone from inside the vehicle fired about six shots into the crowd causing injuries to Jahshiel Cervantes, of Handyside Street.

Police investigations continue.
