By Belize Live News Staff: Police in the Orange Walk District are investigating the discovery of an abandoned vehicle found off the roadway early Thursday.
According to information received, a grey-colored car without license plates was observed inside bushes between the BSI Junction and the Guinea Grass Junction. Officials were alerted to the situation and advised to proceed to the location to investigate a possible traffic accident.
Upon initial checks, no occupants were seen in or around the vehicle. The circumstances surrounding how the vehicle ended up in the bushes remain unclear.
Police are continuing investigations to determine whether the vehicle was involved in a traffic accident or abandoned under other circumstances.
