By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating a man who is wanted for escaping from lawful custody in Orange Walk Town.
According to a wanted person poster issued by the Belize Police Department, Juan Soto, 37, is wanted in connection with the crime of escape from lawful custody, which reportedly occurred on December 16th, 2025. The matter is being investigated by Orange Walk Police.
Police describe Soto as being approximately five feet seven inches in height, slim-built, with light brown skin, a narrow face, and brown eyes. He is of mestizo descent and was last known to reside on Savannah Street in Orange Walk Town.
Officials are urging anyone who sees or has information on the whereabouts of the wanted man to contact the nearest police station or Orange Walk Police at 322-2022
