Police charge Belize City man with attempted murder

By Aaron Humes: 25-year-old Delroy Alexander Staine of Belize City has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and dangerous harm.

Staine is accused of the attempted murder by shooting of Christian Molina on March 31, Easter Sunday.

Initial investigation revealed that at about 9:30 pm Christian Molina was standing in a yard on Crown Street, Belize City, waiting for his friend Delroy Staine aka “Heada” who then arrived on a bicycle, and approached Christian Molina, pulled out a firearm and pointed it towards him and started shooting at him.

Christian Molina then ran towards his home on Park Street, Belize City, where he was ferried to KHMH for medical attention while Staine then made good his escape towards Riverside.
