By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police in Orange Walk have charged a 47-year-old resident of Douglas Village for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
According to official police reports, a formal complaint was sworn on Friday, December 26, leading to the arrest and charge of Elvis Mendez, a farmer from Douglas Village.
Mendez faces charges for driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drinks or drugs. The matter has since been referred to the court for further proceedings.
