By Zoila Palma: During Thursday’s sitting of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister John Briceño criticized the United Democratic Party (UDP) leadership for lack of preparation.
The PM also compared the current Leader of the Opposition to former Opposition Leader Moses “Shyne” Barrow.
Briceño suggested that while former Opposition Leader Shyne Barrow had at least prepared for the session, the performance of the current Leader of the Opposition, Tracy Panton, was notably lacking in preparation.
“I really don’t have much more to add… I think we kind of miss Shyne Barrow, you know, because at least Shyne Barrow prepares himself, you know.He comes with something.”
“Maybe that good thing, maybe we should keep this Leader of the Opposition where she is because she makes no preparation,” he added.
“And this is the person that claims that you want to be Prime Minister? Man, you need to work to be able to get your points across,” the PM stated.
