By Zoila Palma: Today, Prime Minister John Briceño held discussions with the OPEC Fund for International Development on potential future projects during his participation in the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting took place on the margins of the 81st United Nations General Assembly, being held from September 22 to 28, 2026, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Briceño said the discussion focused on opportunities for future projects and expressed his intention to advance those opportunities into concrete development initiatives. “I look forward to continuing the conversation and turning opportunities into tangible progress,” he stated.
