The day began in historic Monkey River, where the Prime Minister inspected critical coastal restoration works. This vital project is actively restoring the shoreline to protect the community from the devastating effects of erosion.
Monkey River isn’t the only community experiencing historic transformation.
In Trio, PM Briceno and team joined the farming community to inaugurate a newly paved road.
What used to be an hours-long journey across difficult terrain is now a quick 10-minute trip to market, giving local farmers the efficiency needed to grow the local economy.
