By Breaking Belize News Staff: Karina Kausch is appealing to the public for assistance after two small urns, containing the ashes of her late father and sisters, were stolen from her home in Placencia.
Kausch shared an image of one of the distinctive, small metallic urns with black designs in a social media post, urging locals to be vigilant. “Please keep an eye out for us,” she wrote, emphasizing the deep sentimental value of the stolen items and calling on the community to help return them.
The theft has elicited strong reactions online, with many expressing both sympathy for Kausch and condemnation of the act.
Anyone with information should immediately contact the Placencia Police Station.
