Pep Guardiola has all but ruled out Manchester City claiming a successive treble by stating it is “99.99%” certain they cannot achieve what would be an unprecedented feat in Europe.
In claiming the title, FA Cup and Champions League last term, Guardiola’s side joined Manchester United’s 1998-99 team as the only English treble winners. With City second in the Premier League, in the fifth round of the Cup and in the Champions League last 16, they have a chance of a repeat but Guardiola laughed off the prospect.
