By Zoila Palma: In celebration of the 107th birthday of the Father of the Nation George Cadle Price, the PUP honored his legacy with a ceremony in Belize City.
In addition, the PUP gathered at the “Serving the People: Continuing the Revolution” exhibit.
The powerful exhibit reflects the ensuring principles that guided George Price’s life, including humility in leadership, unwavering service to the people, and an unshakeable belief in Belize’s right to self-governance.
Members of the Belize Youth Movement (BYM) expressed pride and explained that the exhibit challenges us to look beyond history books and see our role in carrying forward the ideals he lived by: to serve, to uplift our communities, to lead with integrity, and to continue building the Belize he so boldly envisioned.
“The Belize Youth Movement reaffirm our commitment to keeping that revolution alive, not just in remembrance, but in action,” the BYM expressed.
