By Zoila Palma: The People’s United Party (PUP), Party Leader and Prime Minister John Briceno, Deputy Party Leader Cordel Hyde, Chairman Henry Usher, the PUP National Executive, the PUP Secretariat have extended sincerest condolences to the family of Jose Guerra “El Matador” of Santa Elena, Cayo.
“He was a true soldier of the revolution. A flag bearer, a loyal comrade. May Jose rest in peace and rise to eternal glory. Sleep on brother,” a statement from the PUP secretariat said.
Guerra will be remembered for his fiery activism within the PUP being a loyal flag bearer at every event.
