By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Team PACT on TRAK — Amado Cruz, Enrique Cruz, and Cristian Lopez — strengthened their hold on the 2026 Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge on Sunday, winning Stage 3 from Burrell Boom to Belize City in 4:45:21, their fastest leg of the race so far. The victory extended their overall lead and placed them firmly in control heading into Monday’s decisive sprint to Belcan Bridge.
For all intents and purposes, barring a catastrophe, PACT on TRAK will be the clear winners. The time gap is enormous, especially considering that Monday’s run to Belcan Bridge is the shortest leg of the race.
Riverside Boyz (Toucan Solutions) — Henner Cruz, Efrain Cruz, and Brian Cruz — were the closest challengers, finishing in 4:45:51, just 30 seconds behind the leaders. Ranza River Cruisers — Daniel Cruz Sr., Francisca Cruz Pfaender, and Daniel Cruz Jr. — clocked 4:47:51 for third, while Black Orchid Resort — Carlos Linares, Brandon Lind, and Jesus Linares — followed closely in 4:47:52.
Lucas Family Team — Armin Lopez Sr., Armin Lopez Jr., and Ulises Lopez — Koop Sheet Metal — Alfred Lopez, Allen Lopez, and Byron Cruz — River Blazer Bros (C2) — Javier Guardado and Andres Cabb Jr. — Lucas Mix Team — Clayton Cabb, Milenie Cabb, and Eric Cano — Team Brothers — Luis, Josey, and Yonie Garcia — and the Belize Coast Guard Spartans completed the top ten in another tightly contested stage.
