Louisiana FC arrive as one of the most consistent teams of the season. They finished first in Group A with 15 points from six matches, showing balance, discipline, and a strong defensive identity. Their quarterfinal performance reinforced that form, as they shut out San Jose FC 1–0 in the second leg to complete a 2–0 aggregate sweep and book their place in the semifinals.
Their opponents, San Jose Pumas FC, enter with pedigree and ambition. The Pumas, subchampions of the last OWFA tournament, finished second in Group B with 13 points and continue to rely on the firepower of Justin Cardenas, the tournament’s leading scorer with 8 goals. In the quarterfinals, the Pumas overcame Mi Gente FC of Guinea Grass 3–1, advancing 5–3 on aggregate behind Cardenas’ leadership and the team’s attacking rhythm.
Both teams earned their place through contrasting strengths — Louisiana through structure and consistency, the Pumas through firepower and experience. With a spot in the Grand Final on the line, this two‑legged semifinal promises intensity and high‑quality football.
The return leg will be played on January 18, also at the Louisiana field.
