By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A 29 year old call centre agent of Mopan Street, Orange Walk Town, has reported that a man he knows threatened to shoot him and members of his family.
The man told police that around midnight on Sunday, October 25, he was awakened by a loud commotion outside his home. When he went to check, he saw his brother in law arguing with a man he has known for about eight years.
According to the report, the man then turned to him and allegedly threatened to bring his “gunman friends” to shoot him in the head.
The complainant said the man also allegedly threatened to kill his brother in law in his sleep by shooting through his window, and threatened to kill his wife when she was at work.
He told police he feared for his life because he knows the man to be aggressive.
A statement has been recorded, and police are investigating.
