By Rubén Morales Iglesias:
The Vikings’ attacking prowess was on full display, adding five goals to their tally and extending their goal difference to +5. With two wins from two matches, they’ve quickly emerged as the team to beat this season.
In the second fixture, San Jose FC and Progresso FC played to a 0–0 draw in a match marked by disciplined defending and missed opportunities. The result leaves Progresso in second place with four points, while San Jose follow with one point.
Majestics FC are at the bottom without a point yet. Despite scoring twice against the Vikings, they’ve conceded 13 goals in two matches—an area they’ll need to tighten as the tournament progresses.
As Week 3 approaches, all eyes will be on whether Vikings FC can maintain their perfect start—and whether the chasing pack can close the gap.
