Orange Walk couple arrested on child cruelty charges

By Horace Palacio: A San Pablo Village couple from Orange Walk District faces serious charges following their arrest on Thursday, April 25th, 2024. The mother and father have been jointly charged with “cruelty to children including abandonment.”

This development stems from a December 2023 report alleging that a minor had been residing with an adult male since August 2023, a situation reportedly approved by the minor’s parents. Police investigations further indicated that the minor was engaged in sexual activity.
