One week later; still no signs of Alicia Jacome

Posted: Thursday, May 23, 2024. 2:22 pm CST.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The family and friends of Alicia Jacome,78, are gravely concerned about her whereabouts.

Jacome was last seen last week at La Gracia Village in the Cayo District while visiting her grandson, Onelsi Adnoldo Villeda, who she hadn’t seen in seven years.

Jacome reportedly went missing on Friday afternoon.

Desperate for help, Villeda is reaching out to the public for any information on his grandmother’s whereabouts.

Jacome’s disappearance is particularly concerning given her Alzheimer’s condition.

On the day she went missing, she was observed walking along a road approximately 25 minutes away from the farm where she was staying.

The farm spans about 1000 acres of land, bordered by dense vegetation and creeks.

Jacome was last seen wearing a green and red patterned blouse, black shorts, and black flip flops.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities immediately.
