By Zoila Palma: The Institute of Archaeology (NICH) Belize advises that Nohoch Che’en, Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM), and Barton Creek Archaeological Reserves remain CLOSED until further notice due to elevated river conditions.
All other Archaeological Reserves remain OPEN for visitation at this time.
The Institute of Archaeology says that it will continue to monitor conditions closely and provide updates as necessary.
