By Horace Palacio: A strong dry east to southeasterly airflow continues to dominate Belize’s weather today, Friday, April 4, 2025. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies during the day and mostly clear conditions tonight, with no rainfall expected across the country.
Inland areas will feel the heat with temperatures climbing to 96°F (36°C), while the coast will experience highs near 89°F (32°C). Conditions in the hills will be slightly cooler, with highs around 82°F (28°C).
Marine conditions remain hazardous. Winds are blowing from the east to southeast at 15 to 25 knots with occasional gusts, producing rough to very rough seas and wave heights of 6 to 10 feet. A Small Craft Warning remains in effect, and operators of small vessels are strongly advised to stay in safe harbor.
Similar weather conditions are expected for Saturday and Saturday night, with continued dry, warm, and windy weather prevailing.
