By Aaron Humes: Murder victim Godfrey Hyde was all alone on an island in the Turneffe Atoll range when he was apparently killed, his body found on Saturday, January 4 when someone brought supplies for him.
Hyde, 59, was found with apparent gunshot injuries. Hilberto Romero, ACP OC Eastern Division, indicated that Police have yet to determine a motive, and no arrests have been made.
The person who brought Hyde’s supplies raised the alarm with the Coast Guard. Police did not find anything missing and no information as to how or why Hyde came to harm.
Investigations continue.
