By Zoila Palma: Cayo Central Area Representative Alex Balona today distributed land ownership documents to a new group of first-time landowners in the constituency.
The ceremony, held at the Cayo Central office in Santa Elena Town, marks a significant milestone for many, especially young Belizeans eager to own their own property.
Among the recipients was local artist Baron Neal, who expressed his excitement about his new land and his aspirations to expand his artistic work and eventually open his own gift shop. For many, this land represents an important step toward achieving their dreams.
Balona emphasized that the land distribution is being rolled out in phases, urging those who have not yet applied to take advantage of the opportunity.
He also recognized the efforts of the Plan Belize initiative and commended Minister of Natural Resources, Cordel Hyde, for making this program a reality.
