Duarte’s Islas que ya no son [Islands that are no longer] was published by Editorial Verbum in December 2025. Here is the post from FAU.
We are pleased to congratulate Carmen Duarte, Visiting Instructor in Spanish and alumna of the Comparative Studies PhD program, on the publication of her new novel Islas que ya no son, released by Verbum. The novel adds to Duarte’s growing body of creative and scholarly work and reflects her continued engagement with literary production and cultural analysis.
