By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The National Youth Club U17 Boys Football Championship featured thrilling matches on Saturday, August 24, 2024, across the country.
At Louisiana Football Field in Orange Walk, Progresso FC and San Estevan Soccer Team played to a 1-1 draw. Both teams displayed perseverance and determination, making it a closely contested match.
No Mercy FC collected a 3-0 win and three easy points after United Force forfeited the match that was to be played at the Carolina Football Field in Carolina, Corozal District.
In another exciting match, Tribal FC triumphed over Belize El Shaddai Academy with a 3-1 win at Victor Sanchez Union Field in Punta Gorda. Tribal’s solid play ensured their comfortable victory.
Finally, at Isidoro Beaton Stadium, Roaring Creek United edged out Armenia with a narrow 1-0 win. The match was tightly contested, but Roaring Creek managed to secure the victory.
The National Youth Club U17 Boys Football Championship, organized by the Football Federation of Belize, continues to be a platform for showcasing the future stars of Belizean football.
