By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize’s National Youth Club U15 Boys Football Championship had planned to play the first leg of the semifinals on Saturday, August 31, 2024, but may have to make changes to the schedule due to stadiums availability.
In the semifinals, Group A winners Progresso FC will face Group B second-place Medina’s FC, while Group B winners Tribal FC will match up against Group A second-place Westline FC.
The second place teams should play the first game at home. That means Medina’s FC should host Progress while Westline should do likewise with Tribal FC.
However, the FFB hasn’t announced the exact time and location for these games since a number of teams are having trouble with stadium availability and may be forced to make changes. This happens as teams couldn’t have booked the stadiums ahead of time not knowing who would qualify and in what order.

One game is sure as Westline FC have informed Breaking Belize News that their semifinal match against Tribal is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 31, at the Santa Elena Complex. Entrance fee will be $3.00.
At the end of the three-game single round-robin first round, Progresso topped Group A with seven points, followed by Westline (6 points), San Estevan Youngsters (4 points), and Z Boys FC without a point.
Tribal FC won Group B by the slimmest of margins. They finished tied in points (7 points) and goal difference (+4) with Medina’s FC but edged them out on the number of goals scored (6 to 5). Roaring Creek United finished third with three points, while Belize El Shaddai Academy didn’t gain any.
