“This marks a significant milestone in grassroots football development and highlights the growing interest and investment in the sport at the community level,” the National Sports Council said in a statement.

Matches will be played simultaneously in all districts, displying the growing enthusiasm for football among Belize’s youngest athletes. The tournament aims to foster community engagement, national unity, and sporting excellence at the primary school level.

📅 District Finals Schedule:

  • Orange Walk – February 18, People’s Stadium, Orange Walk
  • Toledo – February 19, Victor Sanchez Union Field, Punta Gorda
  • Corozal – February 19, Andres Campos Civic Center, Corozal
  • Belize District – February 24, Berger Field, Belize City
  • Cayo – February 26, Edmund Marshalleck Stadium, Benque Viejo del Carmen

🏆 The top-performing teams from each district will advance to the National Championships, scheduled for March 5–6 at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan City.

The National Sports Council expressed appreciation to all participating schools, coaches, parents, and sponsors for their support.

“The National Sports Council remains committed to promoting sports as a tool for youth development, community engagement, and national unity,” the release said.

“This tournament not only provides a competitive platform for athletes but also fosters teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among participants across Belize.”
