National Sheep and Goat Breeding Center offers farmers premium breeds on sale

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Farmers looking for quality sheep and goats to improve your flock, the National Sheep and Goat Breeding Center has a variety of breeds and genetics on sale.

Whether farmers want Dorper, Black Belly, Katahdin, Nubian, or Boer, the National Sheep and Goat Breeding Center has them all. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE). The sheep and goats have a traceability system that guarantees the best standards and practices, making your flock more competitive and profitable in the global market.

The National Sheep and Goat Breeding Center is part of the Genetic Improvement in Sheep and Goat Project, a joint initiative between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Government of Belize. MAFSE said that thanks to this project, they’ve already sold 731 offspring of improved genetic quality to local farmers.

Prices for sheep and goats range from $280.00 to $500.00 each.
