By Zoila Palma: The Belize Country Brand Committee, supported by the Country Brand Communications Coordination Unit (CCU) is excited to share that final preparations are actively underway for the launch of the Belize Country Brand.
Beltraide says that the Belize Country Brand is a unified national identity designed to strengthen how Belize is presented and understood, both internationally and at home. It supports a shared story of who we are, what we stand for, and what Belize offers across national priorities.
“The Country Brand represents more than a logo or a campaign, and the Committee remains focused on ensuring the Country Brand is rolled out with clarity, consistency, and strong national ownership. This will allow Belizeans to confidently recognize it, use it correctly where appropriate, and feel proud of what it represents,” Beltraide explained.
Beltraide noted that the country brand is intended to:
- Elevate Belize’s global reputation and credibility,
- Strengthen investment attraction, export development, tourism and cultural promotion
- Align institutions under a shared national narrative
- Build pride, ownership, and correct adoption across the country
At the heart of the visual identity is a powerful mosaic-inspired design system, symbolizing the many cultures, communities, landscapes, and stories that come together to form one Belize. The Committee is emphasizing consistent “mosaic” language in communications to reinforce recognition and meaning.
