By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The National Community Policing Unit continues to support feeding programs at schools and communities throughout Belize.
Today, Commander of Community Policing Howell Gillett handed over much needed food items for the feeding program in Mahogany Heights.
“The more reasons we give children to stay in school, the less policing reason we will have in the future,” Gillett said.
Gillett added that these initiatives foster a positive relationship between law enforcement and the community, showing our commitment to the well-being of children.
