This announcement comes as part of the Government of Belize’s initiative to modernize the public transportation system via the establishment of the National Bus Company (NBC), which operations begin today, Sunday.
In a statement, the Ministry emphasized its commitment to maintaining stability and continuity for travelers as it implements necessary reforms aimed at enhancing the reliability and efficiency of public transport. While minor corrections may be made to eliminate duplicate runs or closely timed departures, all current timetables will remain intact.
The ongoing transport modernization initiative is designed to improve connectivity and service delivery for communities across Belize. Furthermore, the Ministry assured the public that any future modifications or enhancements to the bus service will be communicated transparently and promptly.
