By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Griga Conquerors became the fifth club to advance to the National Amateur Interdistrict Championship Quarterfinals after running over the MidSouth’s 501 Spartans 5-1 at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga on Sunday evening.
Their previous encounter had finished in a scoreless draw in Independence.
Shedrick Swazo led the Conquerors with a hat trick while Aaron Estero and Norman Sutherland added one each.
Rollin Burgess scored for the Spartans.
