By Rubén Morales Iglesias: On Sunday, Calcutta Bulls became the sixth team to qualify for the National Amateur Interdistrict Championship Quarterfinals.
The Calcutta Bulls advanced 6-5 on penalty kicks after a 0-0 draw in extra-time against Yo Creek United at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk. Their series had ended deadlocked at 2-2 in the first match in Corozal.
Jordan August, Emir Chan, Joshua Villanueva, Derwin Innis, Juan Cano, and Juan Carlos Williams scored for the Bulls.
Amilcar Alamilla, Andiry Canul, Alexis Hernandez, Alden Castillo, and Axel Alamilla did so for Yo Creek.
