By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Napoles FC will host defending Opening Season champions Verdes FC on Saturday night in the Premier League of Belize’s Week 4 headline match, but this weekend comes with a special twist: the club is promoting a 2‑for‑1 double‑header at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan, where both their women’s and men’s teams will take the field.
The venue shift comes as the Isidoro Beaton Stadium remains closed for ongoing upgrades, forcing Napoles to move their home fixtures to the FFB Stadium.
The day begins at 3:30 pm with a PWLB Opening Day battle between champions Napoles FC Women and Corozal Elite, followed by the marquee PLB clash at 7:30 pm, where Napoles’ unbeaten men’s side face a Verdes team that has been perfect through two matches.
Napoles enter the weekend with momentum and confidence, having avoided defeat in all three outings so far. Verdes, meanwhile, arrive in strong form after a commanding 4–1 win over Benque United in Week 3.
