By Aaron Humes: 26-year-old Patrick Uh’s body was discovered in a parking lot on Sunday afternoon, following his unexplained disappearance the previous night. At approximately 2:00 PM, Patrick’s body was found near a freight container in the parking lot of New Moon Supermarket, visibly covered in blood and with stab wounds.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Stacy Smith said on Monday that “Police are in the process of reviewing a number of video footages and it is hoped that these video footages will assist in the ongoing investigation.”
Patrick was last seen leaving his home in Ladyville on Saturday night before 8:00 PM. His common-law wife, Roxanna Aldana, said he told her he would have ‘one or two’ drinks with friends, but he failed to return home.
By Sunday afternoon, a chilling discovery awaited his loved ones.
Uh’s murder was the second of the year and second in the vicinity, after that of Philip Nicholas.
