By Zoila Palma: The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Tax Amnesty Programme roadshow continues this week, offering small business owners across Belize the opportunity to formalize their operations and access a range of benefits.
The initiative aims to support entrepreneurs by providing guidance on tax exemptions, business certification, and connections with key agencies.
The roadshow will visit Benque Viejo del Carmen on October 15 and San Ignacio/Santa Elena on October 16, running from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
Attendees can apply for a one-year business tax exemption, receive same-day support for business certification, and engage directly with representatives from agencies including BELTRAIDE, BTS, BCCAR, IPCU, and more.
Organizers encourage business owners to take advantage of this opportunity to formalize their businesses, which can unlock access to new markets, funding, and support services.
