By Breaking Belize News Staff: A light easterly airflow continues to dominate Belize’s weather pattern, supporting mostly fair conditions today. According to this morning’s forecast from the National Meteorological Service, skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day, transitioning to partly cloudy tonight.
Shower activity will remain isolated across most of the country, though the extreme south may see a few more showers late tonight and into the early morning hours. Marine conditions remain calm with east winds at 5 to 15 knots and sea states showing light chop with waves between 2 to 4 feet.
Temperature highs are forecasted at 95°F inland, 89°F along the coast, and 82°F in the hills. Tonight’s lows are expected to dip to 74°F inland, 82°F at the coast, and 68°F in higher elevations.
No tropical cyclone activity is expected in the North Atlantic Basin over the next 48 hours.
