Mostly fair skies ahead for Belize

By Horace Palacio: Belizeans will experience a predominantly warm and sunny Wednesday with a chance of isolated showers throughout the country, according to the Belize National Meteorological Service.

Temperatures will reach highs in the upper 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (31-34°C) along the coast and inland areas. Hilly regions will be slightly cooler, with temperatures peaking in the upper 70s to low 80s Fahrenheit (26-27°C). Lows across the country will range from the upper 70s to low 80s Fahrenheit (22-27°C).

Mariners should anticipate easterly winds of 10-20 knots with choppy to moderate seas and waves of 3-6 feet.

The fair weather pattern is expected to continue through Thursday night, with only minimal chances of isolated showers.
