By Aaron Humes: Moses “Shyne” Barrow has announced that his Facebook accounts have been reinstated to full activity following a review by Meta Platforms Inc.
Barrow initially faced a permanent suspension of his Facebook accounts, which he attributed to a misunderstanding related to his identity. He took to Instagram to share screenshots of notifications from Facebook indicating violations of their Community Standards.
A frustrated Barrow asked: “Who can help me? @facebook @meta @zuck does not believe I’m Shyne and since Sunday they have permanently disabled my Facebook accounts.”
But upon further review, Facebook reviewers found he had adhered to Community Standards and issued an apology, stating it was necessary to keep the platform safe for all users.
Barrow’s accounts are now confirmed to be active, allowing him to reconnect with his community on the social media platform.
