By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The Belize Met Service says relatively moist and somewhat unstable airflow continues to influence the country, bringing another day of cloudiness and scattered showers. According to this morning’s forecast issued at 6:00 a.m., Belizeans can expect cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially along coastal and offshore areas this morning and tonight. By this afternoon, showers are expected to spread across most areas.
Marine conditions remain choppy, with northeasterly winds at 5 to 15 knots and waves between 3 to 5 feet. Temperatures today will reach 83°F along the coast, 86°F inland, and 76°F in the hills, before cooling to 74°F, 72°F, and 66°F respectively tonight.
The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with the North Atlantic Basin expected to stay quiet for the rest of the 2025 hurricane season, meaning Belize and its coastal waters face no cyclone threats in the coming days.
Tide levels show a low tide at 9:31 a.m., a high tide at 3:52 p.m., and another low at 9:06 p.m. The sun rose at 6:04 a.m. and will set at 5:16 p.m. Forecaster Shanea Young prepared this morning’s report.
