By Breaking Belize News Staff(HP): The National Meteorological Service is forecasting relatively moist and unstable weather conditions across Belize today. Skies will be mostly sunny with intervals of clouds, but showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected over most areas, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours.
Tonight, conditions will turn cloudy in several areas, with rainfall activity continuing. Residents are advised to keep umbrellas or rain gear handy, especially those commuting late in the evening.
Temperatures will remain warm, with coastal highs reaching 89°F (32°C) and overnight lows of 78°F (26°C). Inland communities can expect highs of 94°F (34°C) and lows of 73°F (23°C), while in the hills, cooler conditions will prevail with highs of 82°F (28°C) and lows of 68°F (20°C).
Marine conditions remain calm. Winds will blow from the east-southeast at 5–10 knots, producing slight seas with waves of 1–3 feet. This means small craft operators will have relatively safe conditions for travel.
Looking ahead, the forecast calls for similar weather into Friday, with showers and isolated thunderstorms developing again in the evening and at night.
