Moist and unstable conditions bring showers across Belize today

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Relatively moist and slightly unstable conditions continue over the country this Wednesday, according to the Belize Met Service. The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy intervals throughout the day and night, with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms expected across Belize, most notably over central and southern areas.

Marine conditions will remain choppy, with east to northeast winds at 5 to 15 knots and waves between 3 to 5 feet. Temperatures today will reach 85°F along the coast, 86°F inland, and 77°F in the hills, while tonight’s lows will fall to 76°F, 71°F, and 67°F respectively.

The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with the North Atlantic Basin expected to remain quiet and no cyclones projected to affect Belize or its coastal waters in the coming days.

Tide levels show a low tide at 8:39 a.m., followed by a high tide at 3:02 p.m. and another low at 7:39 p.m. Sunrise occurred at 6:03 a.m., with sunset expected at 5:15 p.m.
