By Zoila Palma: Today, the Miss Universe Belize organization made an announcement that a decision was made to grant the franchise to an organization based in El Salvador.
“This outcome is deeply disheartening given the dedication and hard work of the Foundation, our sponsors, delegates, queens, volunteers, and supporters who have worked tirelessly to elevate pageantry in Belize. Together, we have successfully raised the standard of competition, provided valuable resources, tools, mentorship, and opportunities to our delegates, and maintained transparency and integrity in the stewardship of all sponsor and organizational funds,” the organization said.
The Miss Universe Belize organization says that it takes great pride in the transformation and growth of delegates and queens, many of whom have gone on to become leaders, role models, and ambassadors for Belize.
“We are equally proud that, as Belizeans, we intentionally created opportunities for local creatives, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to showcase their talents and contribute to the success of our organization,” it added.
The organization says that it remains committed to excellence, ethical business practices, and the empowerment of Belizean women remains unwavering.
Miss Universe Belize 2025, Isabella Zabaneh, remains available for appearances, speaking engagements, brand partnerships, community events, and marketing opportunities.
