By Zoila Palma: The Miss Universe Belize Organization has officially revealed the delegates competing for the 2025 crown, showcasing a diverse group of inspiring women from across the country.
Each contestant brings a strong advocacy platform and a unique background, as they prepare to represent Belize on the national and potentially global stage.
Among the delegates is Hope Panton, whose advocacy centers on ocean conservation, particularly the protection of Belize’s treasured barrier reef. She is passionate about raising awareness and creating change to safeguard marine life for future generations.
Samalia Vernon, 32, holds a dual Juris Doctorate and a Master’s in Educational Administration and Leadership. A lawyer and mother, she champions education as a tool for empowerment, aiming to inspire systemic improvements in learning accessibility and quality.
Libny Rodriguez, 19, is pursuing a degree in Accounting Management while advocating for children with disabilities, drawing from her personal experience as a young mother and activist.
Isabella Zabaneh, 21, is working toward a Master’s in Professional Communication and holds a Bachelor’s in International Studies. As a model and student, she focuses on empowering young women, emphasizing confidence and a Christ-centered identity.
Imani Jex, 27, is a designer, model, and philanthropist with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Her platform focuses on child education, promoting equal opportunities and resources for Belize’s youth.
Rounding out the group is Monisha Hyde, 25, a pharmacist and fitness enthusiast with a strong community presence through Rotary. Her advocacy, titled “Healing Beyond the Hurt and Breaking Barriers,” targets health, education, and gun violence prevention, aiming to empower both minds and futures.
As the journey to the Miss Universe Belize 2025 title begins, these six delegates will compete not just for the crown, but to amplify the causes closest to their hearts.
