Minor remains hospitalized following shooting in gang territory

By Aaron Humes: Police say they are probing into potential links to gang activity following the shooting of a teenage boy, 13, on Sunday night.

The minor and another were out looking for an open grocery shop just after nine when a gunman showed up and shot the boy. He is now in stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division, indicated, “Yes, the investigation revealed that he was the one that was targeted…No one is detained. We are looking at all the information to try to establish if there is any connection to any gang, so far that has not been determined.”
