By Zoila Palma: On March 27, 2026, the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government along with UNDP and UNICEF, officially inaugurated new Community Digital Hubs and W.A.S.H. Projects.
Through collaboration with UNDP, these Digital Hubs provide a vital space for students and residents to master technology and excel in their studies, while our partnership with UNICEF ensures reliable access to potable water.
“Taking this momentum to Naj Luum Ca, the Ministry also handed over additional water meters and accessories to the San Jose/Naj Luum Ca Water Board to support the expansion of their shared water system.
We are proud to invest in the tools and infrastructure that empower our children and strengthen the foundation of rural Belize,” the Ministry expressed.
