By Zoila Palma: On January 20, 2026, the Ministry of Rural Transformation’s Rig Crew was on the ground in Gales Point Manatee, where they successfully airlifted the production well to verify and optimize the Gallons Per Minute (GPM) output.
The Ministry noted that a comprehensive water quality test will be carried out to determine the water’s safety and chemical composition.
Upon the successful completion of this evaluation, the well will be integrated into the existing Rudimentary Water System—a vital step in ensuring residents have reliable access to safe, clean, and potable water.
