By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government has partnered with the Taiwan Technical Mission to launch a Women’s Economic Empowerment Programme.
The program commenced in June and is designed to equipping young girls and women with entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to build sustainable livelihoods.
“We are proud to highlight these women from Independence Village, Stann Creek, who are participating in this entrepreneurship training. These women are on their way to becoming small business owners, paving the way for economic growth in their community,” the Ministry expressed.
The program is also being done in other communities.
