By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government has donated weed eaters and a riding mower to six communities in the Corozal District to aid in the upkeep of their rural water systems.
The donation is intended to strengthen maintenance efforts and improve the overall management of essential community infrastructure.
According to the Ministry, the equipment will help ensure that compounds remain clean and safe, while supporting the operational efficiency of local water systems.
The initiative also aims to promote the well-being of the dedicated employees and maintenance teams who work to provide reliable water access in rural areas.
