By Zoila Palma: A Belize City traffic warden’s lifelong dream of owning a home became a reality today as the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) officially handed her the keys to her new house.
The initiative forms part of the Government’s Plan Belize housing program, which continues to provide safe and stable shelter for families across the country.
Supported by her Area Representative, Henry Charles Usher, the proud homeowner expressed heartfelt gratitude as she received the keys.
The MIDH noted that stories like hers reflect the core mission of the housing program: giving Belizeans a foundation of security and dignity through affordable housing.
