Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing notifies of removal of vehicles and materials from Road Reserve – Belcan Bridge Reconstruction

By Zoila Palma:  Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing (MIDH) notified all car dealers, taxi operators, vehicle owners, and any other persons or entities currently utilizing or occupying the road reserve in the vicinity of the Belcan Bridge that the area must be cleared to facilitate the upcoming construction of the new Belcan Bridge.

This includes the portion of land on Central American Boulevard in front of Save U Supermarket and the portion of land on Central American Boulevard in front of Hope Center and the individuals using the road reserve on the Philip Goldson Highway adjacent to Comex Paint.

The MIDH said that all vehicles, equipment, structures, and any other materials located within the road reserve must be removed, and the area vacated no later than May 7, 2026.
